When earth is rotating then how can we say that hills, tree ,walls of a room at rest ?​

They are at rest and in motion too. The thing that makes it so, is your point of reference.

Well, that is a pretty curious question. Anyways, here's your answer.

Motion and Rest are pretty much related to each other, which means, the object can be in either motion or rest, according to the way you see the object.

Imagine you are in a moving vehicle along with your friend, and you ask him if you are in motion or rest.

He/She says that you are in rest. Then you ask someone outside the vehicle the same question. That person says that you are in motion.

Similarly, those in the earth see that hills, tree ,walls of a room are at rest, while astronauts outside the earth see all those things in motion.
