when electric current is pass through a resistor, some heat is produced. Why is it so?​

it is due to the flow of electrons which produces heat.

Anonymous: in a conductor,the number of positive ions is equal to the number of electrons flowing in it. the electrons are attracted towards the positive terminal and due to the drift of electrons towards the positive terminal,the end of the conductor gets heated.
