Electrolysis take place, divide water in the ratio 2 :1 hydrogen and oxygen and the reaction is decomposition reaction

It is decomposition reaction because when electricity is passed through the water a single compound split into two elements hydrogen and oxygen so it is called decomposition reaction.

SahirulIslam: why it is decomposition reaction
SahirulIslam: I have written the reason
SahirulIslam: in the down of the answer

whenever electric current is passed through a acidic water then electrolysis of water takes place.
This is an electrolytic dissociation/decomposition reaction.

vrujahisonu2003: Can u explain why????
Anonymous: pls mark brainliest if my answer satisfied ur need. ☺☺
vrujahisonu2003: Okk i'll
