3)Hydrogen Peroxide(H2O2) acts as bleaching agent due to the release of nascent oxygen.

The nascent oxygen combines with colouring matter which in turn gets oxidized

Thus, the bleaching action of hydrogen peroxide is due to the oxidation of colouring matter by nascent oxygen
