When electrodes are immersed in water, and a current is passed, bubbles of oxygen and hydrogen are produce. Oxygen bubbles formed on the electrode connected to the _(1) terminal(s) and hydrogen bubbles formed on the electrode connected to the _ (ii) terminal(s) of the battery.​
