the tea in the ceramic cup cools faster because ceramic is a substance which has many pores in it which increases the surface area of the cup. the tea gets in the pores and due to the increased surface area the rate of evaporation also increases. so the tea gets evaporated and evaporation is a process which requires energy and this energy is given to it by the tea left inside the cup in the form of heat energy resulting in the cooling of the tea in the ceramic cup.
