When fresh fish is dried it becomes 1/3 of it's weight.

Let say x kg fresh fish is dried

Then Dried  Fish  = x/3  kg

dry 6 kg fresh fish

=> x = 6

Dried  Fish  = 6/3 = 2 kg

Hence 2 kg dried fish is obtained

Know that from the question,

weight dry fish$=\frac{1}{3} \times$ weight of fresh fish.

Find the weight of dry fish if the weight of the fresh fish is 6 kg.

weight dry fish$=\frac{1}{3} \times$ weight of fresh fish

                       $\[ = \frac{1}{3} \times 6\]$

                      $\[ = \frac{6}{3}\]$

                      $\[ = 2kg\]$

Hence, after drying 6 kg of fish we will get $2kg$ of dry fish.
