When half of the total volume of an empty beaker of

mass 100 g is filled with water, its mass is found to be

500 g and when the remaining volume of the beaker

is filled with a liquid, its mass is found to be 1 kg.

Answer:

Mass of water

90 -70=20 g

Volume of bottle is 20 cc (assume water density is 1 g/cc)

Therefore density of liquid is

26/20=1.3 g/cc

1300 kg/m^3
