when heat is appkied to mercuric oxide we getmercury but when copper sulphide ore is converted into copper oxide it is again reacted with copper sulphide
in photo why there is cu2s?

both of them get converted into their oxides. the second step in extracting copper tells us that copper sulphide reduces copper oxide to give only copper.
