hydrogen is in gaseous form copper oxide will be in solid form copper is also in solid found and steam will be in gaseous form and reaction is already balance so there is no need to balance the reaction and it is a displacement reaction.

Answer:

CuO(s)+H2(g) --> Cu(s)+H2O(g)

Explanation:

it is a kind of redox /displacement reaction as H2 displaces CuO to form Cu and H2O. also hydrogen gas reduces the compound. here H2 is reducing agent and substance reduced is CuO.

hope it helps you. plz mark it as brainliest.
