when i am connecting my maharaja cooler through the socket it is giving current and when i am connecting it to extension cord it not giving out any current.

The extension cord is probably damaged.
To check try and connect other things with the same extension cord and see if they work. If they don't work with the extension cord but work fine when connected directly through the socket, then your extension cord is definitely damaged.
