One mole of gas can be defined in three ways-
1. It is defined as when the mass of gas is equal to it's gram atomic or gram molecular mass(GAM or GMM) i.e atomic mass or molecular mass express in grams.
2. It is also defined when gas contains avogardo's no. of particles. Avogardo's no. is a constant whose value is 6.022X10^23.
3. It is also defined when volume of a gas is 22.4l or 22400ml.
Mole of gas can be calculated as-
n=w/m=N/avogardo's no.=V/22.4l
No.of moles=given weight/molecular weight=no. of particles/avogardo's no.=volume of gas/22.4l
Hope it proves helpful to you:)

One gram mole of anything, including gases, is the molecular weight of a molecule in grams. For oxygen, which exists in air as the molecule O2, the molecular weight is 16x2 or 32. So, one gram mole of O2 is 32 grams. For the molecule CO2, the molecular weight is 12+16+16 or 44. So, one gram mole of CO2 is 44 grams. I gm mole will be said molecular weight hope it helps you
