When I was playing with the magnet, I noticed that all of the Indian coins are attracted towards it except for the 5 rupee coin. Why is that?

Answer:

any metal with iron in it is attracted to magnet.

metals such as aluminum, copper and gold are non-magnetic hence they are not attracted by a magnet.

5 rupee coins are not attracted by magnet because most of them  are made of copper which is non-magnetic.

others are made of some alloys of iron hence they are magnetic.
