When ice comes in contact with skin causes cooling sensation . however in case of steam burns are formed in skin. how will you account for this?

ice is made on 0degree centigrade which is low then our normal body temp. so it cause cooling. similarly steam is made at 100 degree centigrade which is high then our body temp. so it cause burning sensation.
