when Ice comes with the contact with skin there is a cooling sensation however in case of steam severe burns on the skin are formed how will you account for this ?

because ice absorbs all the heat to melt itself and we feel cool
but as heat flows from a hot substance to less hot one so the gives the heat to us and due to high temperature severe burns are formed on the skin.
