When ice is applied to an injured area, blood clotting occur. This is because ice activates parts of cells such as blood platelets and blood plasma to get over and stop the flow of blood. So When we put ice on injury it slow down the blood flow. As this process can be done by body also.

The formation of clots on injury is known as Coagulation.

To increase clotting of blood in our body we should eat those food which contains Vitamin-K. Like Spinach, Cauliflower, Cabbage and Fish etc.
