in rocks, iron either makes ferric oxide (Fe²O³)(ore name haematite) or ferosso ferric oxide(Fe³O⁴)(ore name Magnetite)
Apart from that, if there is water present un the rock, iron forms rust(Fe²O³.3H²O) (ore name Limonite)
