Here your answer

When Aluminium is added to a ferrous sulfate solution , the green color of ferrous sulphate disappears and the iron is seen settling down as the reaction occurs. Aluminum being higher in reactivity series displaces the iron in iron sulfate.

Answer:

Aluminum sulfate solution has strong acidity. Hydrolysis of aluminum sulfate can produce sulfuric acid, and sulfuric acid and iron react to form ferrous sulfate, which causes the stainless steel barrel to be corroded.

Al2 (SO4) 3 + 6H2O = 2Al (OH) 3 + 3H2SO4.

ALUMINIUM SULPHATE is a solid crystalline substance of white colour.

hope this helps you.
