well nice question. parallel circuit is very important to use.

parallel circuit insurance that every appliance connected in the circuit get same voltage. due to this all the bulbs connected in a circuit glow with same light.

moreover in parallel circuits every appliance has its own switch so that it can be turned on and off separately.
