Give an expression related to object distance, image distance v and focal length of the mirror F. Give an expression to the magnification of a mirror too. When will the magnification be positive and negative?
Mirror Formula 1 / V + 1 / U = 1 / F
Where V is the image distance, you have object distance and F is the focal length of the mirror. Magnification: The ratio of the height of the image to the height of the object is called the magnification of the spherical mirror.
Magmfication, M = height of image (B ') / height of the object (B) = V / U
The magnification of the actual image will always be negative and the virtual image should always be positive.
