⚫Explanation

◾Initially the amount of heat supplied to the conductor will be used by it to increase in its Temperature.

◾However after sometime the amount of heat supplied will not be used by the conductor but will transferred from a point at higher temperature to a point at a lower temperature.

◾This thermal state of a conductor is known as steady state.
