Normally there will be some detail in the posting indicating the source…
I see each month a few - my pension, some months some dividends etc. in each case there is some clue to tell me the source….
If you are unable to understand the credit from the information provided, it is better to check with the branch….and if you are sure it is not meant for you, report it in writing. Don’t use that amount so that if there is a mistake and it is reversed, you are not in trouble
