When man is standing pressure is high than when he is lying because pressure is inversely proportional to area. When we stand area is less compare to when we ly down .As a result pressure increases.
Conclusion:small area =more pressure

pressure=force/area
when a man stands on his feet the area is very small but when a man is lying (on his body) the area is large (as compared to the feet).Thus the pressure is higher when he is lying. as pressure is inversely proportional to area.

As you said pressure is inversely proportional to area.according to this theory as he is lying means that area is more and if so pressure would be less.(As inversely proportional which means if something increases then something would decrease) in your case both pressure as well as area is increasing which is not possible here.
