Pressure is more on a standing man than a lying man, because while standing less area is covered by man in comparison to standing, and area is inversely proportional to pressure.

Force applied by the body is same in both the cases. But pressure i.e
Pressure =Force/Area
is more hen man is standing because area in contact is more as we know is inversly propotional to area . so,when area is more pressure is less.In case when man is standing area in contact is less so pressure is more
