Pressure = Force exerted
Area in contact.
When a man is lying, the force exerted by his body (or his weight ) acts on the surface area of his whole body.
On the other hand, when the man is standing , his weight acts only on the surface area of his feet which is much smaller than the surface area of the whole body.
Hence , there is more pressure on the ground when the man is standing.
