The Steering Committee provides guidance and overall direction to the project, including on promotion and fostering use of the harmonized guidance produced by the project.

The Steering Committee is composed of individuals with expertise in risk assessment and scientific fields, and who are well-placed in their countries/oranizations to facilitate implementation, ie translate the harmonized guidance into national/regional risk assessment processes.

The Steering Committee meets approximately every 18 months.

Expert working groups are established where appropriate to undertake the work.
