This questions took me to flashback in the year 2015. That feeling when you know someone is happy because of you.

I was posted as a personal banker in HDFC bank Mahasamund (C.G). One usual day a poor old lady came to me she was about 75–80 of age. She was handicapped with one of her hand. She instited me to fill the cash withdrawal cheque of ₹700. I did so. Then she again came to me informing that her cheque has been rejected since her signature doesn't match. she looks pale and tired. Seeing that I request her to sit, offered some water to drink. I checked her account there I came to know her account balance was ₹ -450(minus). I didn't informed her about the same and ask her why does she need for cash? She get up went outside the bank without answering(this feels me real weird)within 2–3 minutes she came along with an old blind man (husband) . she told me that her husband needs to get a regular checkup for eyes to which doctor fees is ₹700. I asked for her family, she had 2 sons and one daughter to which all are married and happily living with their families. But none is ready to take care of them. They just two are living in a small hut with no proper basic needs. They are solely depend on government pension for their bread and better. They are not capable enough to have physical activity to work for income. Sometimes they slept without having meal. Sometimes they satisfied their appetite with the rest what people eat.(she burst into tears) I was numb hearing that. Since I was in office and my profession doesn't allow me to be emotional. But still I lied her that she is having money in her account. Requested her to wait outside the bank. I'll back with your money. Immediately I rush to my bank ATM, withdraw ₹900 give to her lady. Lady asked me why did you withdrar₹900 when my need is only ₹700. I said keep the extra. You'll need it. Further she asked any amount left in her account after withdrawal. I said yes. But not enough for the next time. You have to wait for your next pension (which is ₹300 per month). I lied her for that because I didn't want to see her cry for one more time.

Before leaving the place she blessed me all kind of blessing that could be possible for her.

Her last word that still echoed my ear:

“ Tumhare jaise aulaad bhagwaan sabko de , sayad iss janam me hamare naseeb me baccho ka sath nahi tha”

I can't tell describe those feelings when she was blessing me but more than that I had satisfaction that some one is happy because of me no matter how long it was.

P.S - I didn't write this to gain sympathy, upvotes, appreciations, but if someone takes inspiration from this and started sorts to help needy I would consider my efforts to be successful.

Believe me you'll feel their blessings whenever you are in need.
