100% increase in momentum

100% KE (normal) + 300% KE (increase) = 400% KE or 4xKE

KE = (1/2)*m*v^2

define initial and final states...

4x KE1 = KE2 4x (1/2)*m1*v1^2 = (1/2)*m2*v2^2

cancel out (1/2) factor

mass doesn't change, m1 = m2 = m..... cancel out m

4v1^2 = v2^2 or (2v1)^2 = v2^2

2*v1 = v2

momentum is P = mv

m*v1 + Pchange = m*v2 = m* (2v1)

Pchange = 2*m*v1 - m*v1 = m*v1

m* v1 is 100% of m*v1

momentum is increased by 100%

I hope this will help you
