The hidden phenomenon behind the swellin of a Raisin kept in the water,  is the "Osmosis". Osmosis is a process, where the water or the liquids enter the cell from a Lower composition to the Higher composition. The three applications, are:
1. Given, The water enters the Raisin when kept in the water.
2. Purification of Water( used when purifying the Sea water.)
