when laxmi applied a force of 50 newton on an object it undergoes a displacemnt of 2m when vinitha aplien the same forceon it it displaced 3m if so which one did more work

Given:-

  • Force ,F = 50 N

  • Displacement ,s = 2 m

  • Displacement ,s' = 3m

To Find:-

  • Which one work more ,W

Solution:-

As we know that Work Done is defined when force acting on the object produce some displacement .

• W = Fs

Where,

W is the Work Done

F is the Force

s is the displacement

Work done by Laxmi !!

substitute the value we get

→ W = 50 × 2

→ W = 100 J -------------(1)

Therefore,work done by laxmi is 100 Joules.

And,

Work done by vinitha !!

Substitute the value we get

→ W' = 50×3

→ W' = 150 J ----------------(2)

Therefore,work done by vinitha is 150 Joules.

From Equation 1 & 2 we observe that

work done by vinitha is more .
