Staying fit and looking beautiful is one of the top priorities today. However, a sedentary lifestyle combined with increased alcohol and junk food intake is making them gain unwanted pounds. Obesity not only looks unappealing, but can also lead to various health problems like heart diseases, hypertension, sleep apnea, stroke etc.

Losing excess pounds could be as easy as sitting back and drinking tea all day. Numerous scientific studies have concluded green tea drinkers lose weight faster than those who do not.

Green tea is one of the most widely consumed teas in the world. It is made from the leaves of Camellia sinensis. It has become the go-to beverage for many health conscious people. The tea has been used for thousands of years for medicinal purposes. The unique set of chemicals present in green tea provides a host of health benefits. The health benefits of green tea arise from the fact that it undergoes minimal oxidation while it is made, making it extremely rich in antioxidants.
