when litmus change the colour ?

If it is dipped in any acidic or basic solution .
For e.g.If we dip a blue litmus in a acidic solution then, it will change red and if we dip red litmus paper in basic it will change in basic solution.

Litmus paper comes in 2 colour.....

⭐In acid it is changed from blue to red...

⭐⭐In alkaline / base it is changed from red to blue...
