When metal x is treated with sodiu hydroxide a white precipitate a is formed which is soluble in excess of naoh to give soluble complex b . Compound a is soluble in dilute hcl to form compoundc . The compound a when heated strongly gives d . Which is used to exatract the most abundant metal . Identify x, a , b, c,d . Write chemical formula of complex b

the compound X must be Al.
Al+NaOH----->Al(OH)3
X=Al
A=Al(OH)3
now, Al(OH)3+excess NaOH------->NaAlO2
B=NaAlO2
now compound A reacts with dil HCl to give C which is :AlCl3
when compound A is heated it gives d which is: 2Al(oh)3+heating--------->Al2O3.

Hope you get it. Have a nice day,human. ;)
