Hey there I have also asked that question to my teachers also and then I got my answer. Actually as we use numbers such as 1 , 2 , 3 etc . Similarly these numbers are also use in our calculations not only in performing maths but also in things such as calculating the velocity of the train, Rocket, etc .. measuring the temperature of anything. Therefore they are used just as other numbers.
