When molten zn is cooled to solid state, it assumes hcp structure. then the no of nearest neighbours of zn atoms will be.....?

hcp structure means "hexagonal close packing" structure . hcp is a closed packed arrangement in which the unit cell is hexagonal and coordination no is 12.
