when n is divided by4 ,the remainder is 3 .what is the remainder when 2n is divided by4?

Let n=4*q + 3. Then, 2*n = 8*q + 6 = 4(2*q + 1) + 2.

Thus when 2*n is divided by 4, the reminder is 2.

Answer: n/4=3

2n/4=?

n=3×4=12

Therefore n=12

2(12)/4=24/4 =6
