When NaOH and CO2 react, there are 2 possibilities, either the products are Na2CO3+H2O or only NaHCO3 is formed.
1. Is this true?
2. If it is, then how to know which case will happen?
3. If it isn't, what are the product(s)?

NaOH reacts with CO2 to form NaHCO3 later NaHCO3 reacts with NaOH to form Na2CO3 and water
