when Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin landed on the Moon they could not communicate with each other the way we do on the earth why do you think that was not possible

the sound we hear in the earth move in the form of waves.

waves need a medium to move from one place to another.

but in space there is no medium. it all consists of vaccum

thus it is not possible to communicate in space as we do in earth
