C.P.=17150
Commission paid to agent(loss)=2%
S.P.=(C.P. * 100)/(100-loss)
=>(17150 * 100)/(100-2)
=>1715000/98
=>17,500

CROSS CHECK
=>17500-(17500*(2/100))
=>17500-350
=>17150
=> Amount got by Nikita=17150

Answer:

The selling price of the vehicle is Rs. 17500.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that Nikita got Rs 17,150 for her vehicle after paying the agent. If the commission was paid at 2%.

Let the selling price of the vehicle be x.

x-\frac{2}{100}x=17150

\frac{100x-2x}{100}=17150

\frac{98x}{100}=17150

98x=17150\times 100

x=\frac{1715000}{98}

x=17500

Therefore the selling price of the vehicle is Rs. 17500.
