Chemistry, asked by ZoriniRenthlei, 1 month ago

When nitrogen and hydrogen gases (in 1:3 ratio) are heated at high temperature and high pressure under the presence of iron (as catyst),a gaseous product ammonia is formed. If the gasoues product so formed is not immediately cooled, the change reverses. Will you call this a chemical change? Give reasons for your answers.

Answer:

It is a chemical combination reaction. The process converts atmospheric nitrogen (N2) to ammonia (NH3) by a reaction with hydrogen (H2) using a metal catalyst under high temperatures and pressures. This process is known as Haber's Process.
