1 You can take the sentence... in a funny way... and act in an unusual manner..

2 or the other meaning is..... if nothing goes right or in an appropriate manner... the you should choose another path or an other choice.. for eg. You might not be able to just fix things in an around you so you should better try to make changes in your self... instead of just blaming other for it.
