Answer:

Explanation:

Use the formula

Y =  360/x

where x = angle between the mirror

y = no. of images

if the object is placed symmetric to both the mirrors, subtract 1 from Y because the two formed images overlap on each other.

For unsymmetrical placement of object, Y is the answer.

For your case,

Symmetric placement, Y = 360/75 - 1 = 3 (complete images)

unsymmetric placement, Y = 4

The value 0.8 represents an incomplete image.

360/75 = 4.8 say 4.

So the numbers of images will be 4–1 = 3.

Answer:

Angle measured is 60°

Explanation:

The number of images formed when two mirrors are placed at an angle theta to each other is given by: n = ( 360 / theta ) - 1.

Here, n = 5, so ( 360 / theta ) = n+1 = 6, hence theta = 360/6 = 60 deg.

So the mirrors are placed at an angle of 60 deg with each other.
