immediately get the person away from the heat source to stop the burning cool the but with cool lukewarm running water for 20 minutes don't use ice or ice water or any creame or greecy substance such as butter

2. remove the rings or other thing where the area burns
3. don't break blister
4. Apple lotion
5. bandage the burn
6. if needed an over -the -counter pain reliever, such as Ibuprofen , naporax sodium or acetaminophen....
