ANSWER

P(X)=X²+aX+2X+a

g(X)=X+a

now applying the remainder theorem

X+a=0

X=-a

therefore..the remainder is.....

p(-a)=(-a)²+a(--a)+2(-a)+a

=>p(-a)=a

therefore the remainder is =a
