when p(x)=x^2+7x+9 is divided by g(x),we get (x+2) and -1 as quotient and remainder,find g(x)

devident=devisor*quotient+remainder
so,by using the formula
x^2+7x+9=g(x)*(x+2)+(-1)
g(x)=x^2+7x+8/x+2
g(x)=x+3
