I agree because the demands of the children are sometimes very absurd and may actually go against their larger interest. One example can be that a child may ask for 5 burgers because he is hungry. If the parents get him 5 burgers, he will most probably get a stomachache, which was not exactly what he wanted. So, parents disagreeing to some of their kids' demands is good parenting. Depends on what the demand of the child is.
