=>  2PbO₂ + 4HNO₃→ 2Pb(NO₃)₂ + 2H₂O + O
=> PbO₂ + 2HNO₃→Pb(NO₃)+1/2O₂ +H₂O



When PbO₂ reacts with conc. HNO₃ the gas evolved is Oxygen.
because PbO₂  is a strong oxidizing agen
t and it  is stable in it's +2 state
