when the grandmother died the sparrows,along with the writer's family mourned her death. Hundreds of sparrows came and sat quitely around her dead body .The writer's mother feeling bad for the sparrows threw breadcrumbs for them to eat but the sparrows took no notice of them. After the cremation they flew away without touching the crumbs.
