Answer: When perfume is sprayed in the air, we are able to smell it but not see it because when perfume is opened , perfume particles directly changes into vapour and these particles are mixed with the particles of air. As the kinetic energy of gas molecules is high so as the rate of diffusion is also high so the particles mixes very  fast. That is why we smell the perfume in several metres away but cannot see it .
