When pH of solution A is 6 and pH of solution B is 8. then how it is identified solution A is acidic and B is basic?

the pH value of less than 7 indicates an acid

so solution A is acidic

the pH value more than 7 indicates a base

hence the solution b is basic

the pH value of exactly 7 indicates in neutral solution
